Whispers of the Peacock Takes Flight in Montreal

I’m thrilled to share that my original oil painting, Whispers of the Peacock, is officially on exhibit at the Montreal Art Center & Museum as part of the Global Art League 2026 international competition.

Selected from entries by artists around the world, Whispers of the Peacock earned a place among the competition’s Top 100 finalists. The finalist exhibition is open in Montreal from August 29 through September 12, 2026.

About the Painting

Whispers of the Peacock is a 24-by-30-inch oil painting celebrating the intricate beauty of a peacock feather. Swirling blues, greens, golds, and touches of orange shimmer with energy and movement. Richly layered brushwork creates depth and rhythm, inviting viewers to discover the mystery, elegance, and timeless stories whispered through the natural world.

The painting’s journey from HawkArt Studio in rural Georgia to an international exhibition in Montreal is an especially meaningful milestone for me. I’m grateful to the Global Art League for selecting my work and to everyone whose encouragement helped carry it this far.
